Where does Argan Oil come from?

The Argan ‘Tree of Life’ is a tree found in South Morocco. This tree bears a fruit which inside contains the Argan Nut. Argan Oil is extracted from the kernels inside this nut using a cold pressed process.

Will Argan Oil effect the colouring process of my hair?

No! Prida Pure Argan Oil DO NOT CONATIN LINSEED OIL. Linseed oil is an ingredient found in some Argan Oil brands which can act as a barrier when colouring the hair. In some cases Linseed Oil has been known to turn blonde hair yellow. There is NO TRACE of this ingredient in Prida Pure Argan Oil.

I have heard you can add Prida Pure Argan Oil to colour and chemical treatments? How do I do this?

Yes you can! Prida Pure Argan Oil can be used with any of the main colour and chemical treatments – such as semi colours, highlights, straightening and relaxers.
Before applying colour and chemical treatments prepare your hair when wet by putting approximately 7ml of Prida Pure Argan Oil directly on the hair and massage through to activate the hair cuticle. This will help prevent some of the damage caused by chemical treatments. Then add the same amount, approximately 7ml, to any colour mix to maximize the hairs absorption rate and to enhance the shine and colour depth whilst again protecting your hair.

Should I use Prida Pure Argan Oil before or after drying my hair?

Both! But definitely before. Prida Pure Argan Oil helps push water out of your hair allowing it to dry 40% faster. This results in less time, less heat and a silky, non-oily result with no frizz! After swimming use the oil throughout your hair, DO NOT rinse out. You can leave your hair to dry naturally or you can blow dry as normal.

Can I straighten my hair with Prida Pure Argan Oil in?

Absolutely – When your hair is dry – curl, straighten with heat as normal. Prida Pure Argan Oil protects the hair from heat caused by styling products.

I have heard I should use Prida Pure Argan Oil on my Hair every day?
